Part 3 progress - major bugs fixed!
This isn't a new content update yet, but this time I've fixed several very long-standing issues in the game!
Firstly, the twitchy arm bug. It had been in the game since launch, and over many attempts, I never did manage to fix it. You may or may not recall a few updates back, I tried fixing it and somehow made it way worse. Well no more! This time I fixed it for real! Turns out I had been using a script to constantly set the player's rotation to 0, and it was causing a lot of jank. The whole time, I could have just set the rigidbody to not rotate.
In addition to this, I have also added a script to the explosives to make them finally not damage enemies through walls. I'd also tried multiple times to do this, but those were kinda wierd methods in retrospect, like trying to deal damage based on particle collisions. Anyway, now it's using raycasts, and it works fine. No more bullying enemies through walls with the grenade launcher, and no more BS deaths to enemy grenades either.
The current game build includes way too much new part 3 content to release now, so sadly you'll just need to wait till the the big part 3 launch for these fixes to actually take effect. Sorry.
