Temporary change of direction


It's been a while since I've updated this devlog, so the first thing I should probably say is that this game is not, in fact dead, and that I am still working on it when I have time (I just haven't had very much recently). 

As for what I'm doing now, I have decided to temporarily pivot my development from working on part 3 (aka the next big content update) to instead working on a QOL and stability update. The current latest dev build already has fixes for the aiming and the explosives hitting through walls, and I am working on changes to part 2's enemy and environment sprites to make thing more visible and an updated tutorial, as well as various changes to effects to make the game run and look better. 

While some of part 3's content has been finished, including a weapon and 3 enemies, it is still a while from being fully done, so I wanted to have a better quality game without having to wait so long to release it alongside the finished part 3.

Anyway that's all for now. Look forward to the new update in the next few months or so.
