Polishing update and re-title-ing
It's been a while since I last updated this game, hasn't it? Well no more! This is the long-awaited (by like 3 people at most) QOL update, where I finally fix many of the games' issues! Changes in this update include:
~ Fixed the janky aiming once and for all! Never again will the player character's arm randomly start twitching as you fly around. There's also a fancy new crosshair sprite, no more default windows pointer here.
~ Weapons have been rebalanced and debugged. Grenades (both yours and the enemies') no longer hit through walls
~ The tutorial has been updated to explain features added after it was, and now plays automatically on the fist time the game is launched
~ Better indicators for weapon-specific controls
~ Numerous re-sprites, including proper animations for the player character
~ Some changes to make levels more fair
~ Retitled the game from "the Facility" to "subject #n". I feel like the previous title was simply too generic, there are likely dozens of other games called "the Facility" that would show up first when you looked up the title. The new one is more unique, and sounds better to me.
+ This build technically contains some stuff from part 3 I was making before deciding to make a fix update, but that's all inaccessible. No rooting through my build files, those are spoilers!
~ A number of other small changes too minute to be worth mentioning or that I forgot about
So that's it. I was very busy with university these past few months, but now that's all over for this year, so I should have more time to work on this. Look forward to future updates, as I'll now be getting back to work on part 3.
